Relevant Experience

Explosures (Photographer)

While working at photography company Explosures in Devon, I gained valuable experience as a photographer and also within customer service. I was positioned on their boat taking photos of holidaymakers on the Salcombe estuary. I am a skilled and versatile photographer with experience in a variety of settings. As well as learning to frame photographs quickly and professionally in the shop, I also acquired sales skills while engaging with customers. My employer and I worked so well together that I was invited to return the following summer.

Art of Football (Various Roles)

During my placement year I worked with Nottingham based company Art of Football; they create artwork based on iconic footballing moments and reproduce them on t-shirts and sweatshirts, or as prints. My role developed through the year: I started by creating animations of goals and being heavily involved with production and became artistic director of all aspects of women’s football with my own team to manage during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

I learnt to adapt my work to the style of the company, time manage effectively and I am now very competent in creating social media content to help promote products.

I regularly spoke with customers that came into the studio and I made sure to advertise Art of Football’s social media accounts.
